Cross-Section Dissolve: A Material Instance that can be used for liquids, melting objects, slicing objects in half, object "internals" and the like!
Cross-Section Dissolve: Showcasing how the material instance can be altered to work in either local or world space, depending on the artist's need.
Alpha Erosion: A Material Function that combines uses double scalar inputs with a smooth-step in order to create clean masks to use for texture work. My main usage for this has been "dissolving" objects in VFX.
Sphere Mask Instance: A brief look at how you can use the parameters and the combined spheremasks to create different kinds of sprites, which can be useful to make a lot of "basic" particles for various VFX Work.
VFX Playground: A blueprint game state that can quickly be dropped into a scene to allow artists to easily text out animations & vfx without needing game framework or spending additional time. Draws all information from Data Tables set up beforehand.
VFX Playground: Another showcase of the video recording functionality; The tool automatically records gameplay during runtime! This means artists can easily and quickly share videos without needing to record using external software.
This project is a collection of various Tech Art Endeavours I've worked on, all of which (I think) are too small to be individually showcased in their own respective projects. As such, I've gathered them all here and recorded "Explainer" Videos, where I quickly flip through parameters and settings to show what they can be used for.
Each individual project has its own written points aswell underneath each media file, so read those if you're interested in the specific use cases or setup for each one.
